Temporal And Spatial Analysis Of Cultivated Land And Its Influence In Hunan Province Under The New Urbanization

The significance for cultivated land of human society it goes without saying, after decades of extensive development, cultivated land protection is particularly important and pressing for China. Hunan province is China’s traditional breadbasket province, not only need to meet the food needs of more than 70 million people in the province, also need to shoulder the responsibility of ensuring national food security. In 2014, per capita cultivated land of Hunan province is only 0.86 acres, about 60% of the national level. Cultivated land protection bearing heavy pressures and responsibilities, therefore, the analysis of temporal and spatial changes of cultivated land and its influence factors in Hunan is of great significance.Cultivated land protection is a system project, this study only analysis the temporal and spatial changes of cultivated land and its influence factors in Hunan under the new urbanization angle. And it include five parts:Part 1,Introduction, describe the background and significance of the research, research progress and trends, research methods, data sources and processing, as well as the definition of relevant concepts and methods.Part 2,Overview of Hunan province, introduced the basic information, including location, natural and socio-economic conditions, the situation of cultivated land resources and agricultural production.Part 3, Analysis of Statio-temporal Changes of cultivated land resources in Hunan province, based on the analysis of existing data, classified by Jenks natural fracture method, using GIS mapping and other Visual display temporal and spatial changes of cultivated land in Hunan province.Part 4,Analysis of socio-economic factors affecting temporal and spatial changes of cultivated land in Hunan province, based on the exiting data of socio-economic factors, using GRA by Jenks, find the grey relation degree between the socio-economic factors and the temporal and spatial changes of cultivated land in Hunan province.Part 5,Suggestions and concrete measures for the protection of cultivated land in Hunan Province. Based on the conclusion in this research.And the results show that by 2009,the total amount of cultivated land in Hunan province showed a decreasing trend, from 2009 to 2014 there is a small increase in each year, the change point is with the new urbanization in Hunan province corresponds to time, therefore, it can be said the new urbanization road for cultivated land protection is more effective.The driving force of cultivated land use change in Hunan province cities vary, but there is a certain degree of spatial aggregation, The main influencing factor of Chang-Zhu-Tan area cultivated is local revenue, the main influencing factors for southern Hunan are the farming population and grain yield and main factors of large area of Western Hunan are population, agriculture population and food production. Therefore, the new type in Hunan province in the process of urbanization should be fully aware of regional differences in effective urban development and farmland protection balance.
