With the increasing trend of economic globalization, the exchange rate of various countries and regions goes faster than before. In the frequent patterns of interaction, enterprise teams are gradually developed to the diversification. There are more and more teams which developed across regions and industries. There is a close relationship between departments’ performance and businesses’targets, Which is used to evaluate their behavior result. In such a diverse background, it is worth us to study how team diversity influence the team’s overall performance, by which means this influence develop and what the final results will be.Based on data processing and analysis of 204 questionnaires come from different industries, this article uses empirical research methods and statistical analysis softwares of SPSS 19.0 and AMOS 17.0 to test and explain the influencing mechanism between team diversity, team cohesiveness and team performance. As for the relationship between team diversity and team performance, the findings of this paper show that there is no significant correlation between job performance, satisfaction performance and individuality diversity; There is a significant negative correlation between individuality diversity and development capability; There is a significant positive correlation between value diversity and team performance; There is a significant positive correlation between work significance diversity and team performance. As for team cohesiveness’mediation role in the relationship between team diversity and team performance, the findings of this paper show that team cohesiveness plays a partial mediating role in these relationships:individuality diversity and job performance, satisfaction performance and work significance diversity, development capability and work significance diversity. Team cohesiveness plays a complete mediating role in these relationships:individuality diversity and development capability, value diversity and satisfaction performance, value diversity and development capacity, work siginificance diversity and job performance. In order to give some inspiration and guidance to enterprises’ team operation of our country, this paper combines theoretical analysis and enterprises’actual situation of our country, discusses the empirical results. At the last of this paper, we summarize the findings, propose inadequate and further research directions.
