Along with the rapid development of economic globalization,in order to adapt tothe increasingly fierce competition of the external environment,enterprises gradually adopt team organization form,and the research on team has become a hot issue in current researches.Study about the background of team members and its team impact is one of the important aspects.In this paper,we used I-P—O model as the foundation,and studied six types of team diversity as follows:gender diversity,age diversity,workingtime diversity,education level diversity,professional diversity and values diversity,andtheir effects on three variables of team process:communication,relationship conflict,task conflict and performance as well as the effect mechanism.Finally,we introducedteam size as a control variable and studied its influence on the effects of team diversity.Through an empirical study and analysis,this paper concluded that:(1)team diversity had significant effects on team process:gender and values diversity block communication,gender,age,working time and values diversity increased relationship conflict,gender,age,education level and values diversity increased task conflict,butrelationship between professional diversity and team process was not obvious.(2) teamprocess had significant effects on group performance:communication produces positive effect,and relationship conflicts and task conflicts played a negative role.(3)amongteam diversity,only values diversity had a negative impact on team performance,andtook the team process as path,communication being intermediary variable.(4)underdifferent team size,the effects ofteam diversity existed differences....
