Research On Practical Teaching System Majoring In Hotel Management In H College

With the rapid development of economy and society all over the country, tourism has showed its strong potential, the hotel industry has developed rapidly and now it is in the era of the coexistence of domestic and international competition. Within this environment, as a labor-intensive industry, it has a high demand to the hotel employees and a demand for well-skilled and applied talents is increasing day by day. The hotel industry needs a large number of well-trained graduates majoring in hotel management. But at present, the contradiction between the hotel management professional education and the talent supply and demand of the hotel industry is becoming more and more serious. And strengthen the construction of higher vocational colleges hotel management specialty teaching system, deepen the study on the practice teaching for improving the students practical ability, improve the quality of teaching and meet the needs of the hotel industry development of talent demand has important significance.The research on the hotel practice teaching system of hotel management major is a complicated system, teaching practice and the related elements are necessary not only to regional hotel industry development, but also their own conditions. This paper, take the H Vocational College as an example, investigated and analyzed the students, teachers and internship companies based on the link between the composition of hotel management practice teaching system and the elements, using the method of questionnaire and interview. Studies show that the main problem of the practice teaching system in H College is the lack of the detailed teaching goal; and the lack of practice teaching materials and weak focalization for the working positions; part of the curriculum setting are unreasonable and the content are mechanical; "Dual-abilitied" teacher needs to be enriched; single teaching evaluation, examination mode is not flexible, etc. In view of the above problems, on the basis of the achievement in the research of practice teaching in higher vocational colleges, this paper established the market orientation, overall optimization and dynamic development for basic principle, proposed optimization strategy from the establishment of reasonable practice objective teaching system, improvement of the teaching and management system, optimization of the evaluation system and fulfillment the coordination of all aspects.That is to build more refined and reasonable practice teaching objectives, optimize the curriculum, strengthen the practical management, optimize internships, construct the practical teaching guarantee system, improve the faculty construction and the evaluation system, develop the information feedback, and strengthen students’ vocational orientation education.
