The Research About The Higher Vocational Hotel Management’s Practical Teaching Reference

With the rapid development of China’s hotel industry, the standard of talentbecomes higher and higher. However, there is a mismatch of supply and demandbetween the talent training of higher vocational hotel management and the actualdemand of hotel industry. Practical teaching reference is the embodiment of thecontent, the training methods and the teaching thoughts of higher vocational hotelmanagement’s talent training, and is the important precondition of accelerating thedevelopment of vocational education. Strengthen the practical teaching reference’sconstruction is beneficial to improve the quality of the talents, the mismatch of supplyand demand in hotel industry, and meet the actual demand for skilled talents.This article is based on the analysis of features of higher vocational hotelmanagement’s practical teaching reference and the necessity of its construction, byusing literature method, questionnaire method and interview method, investigates thehotel managers, administrators, teachers and students in higher vocational colleges.On the basis of the survey,it makes further understand of hotel management’spractical teaching reference’ s construction in vocational colleges. This paper mainlyaims to analyze the existing problems in the construction of teaching reference, inorder to improve the research of higher vocational hotel management’s practicalteaching reference’ s construction.The article is divided into six parts. The first part is introduction, mainly on theresearch background, research significance, research review, research framework andresearch methods; The second part is the summary of higher vocational hotelmanagement’s practical teaching reference, firstly, defining the relevant concepts,secondly, putting forward the characteristics of practical teaching reference and thenecessity of its construction, finally, elaborating theoretical basis of hotelmanagement’s talent training in higher vocational colleges; The third part is thecurrent situation of the construction of higher vocational hotel management’s practicalteaching reference’s analysis, based on the conduct interviews and questionnairesurveys of the sample hotels and schools’ related personnel, then present nineproblems of the construction about higher vocational hotel management’s practical teaching reference; The fourth part comes up with nine construction ideas based onthe principle of higher vocational hotel management’s practical teaching reference’sconstruction; The fifth part is the suggestions for the higher vocational hotelmanagement’s practical teaching reference which depends on the governmentauthorities, textbook publishing division and textbook writing department; The sixthpart expounds the research conclusion, disadvantages and the future prospects.
