Research On The Efficiency Improvement Strategy Of Supply Chain Management In TY Company

With the change of external environment, industry fierce competition as well as more and more cost down pressure from customer, "Made in China" is now facing the serious challenge in transition and upgrade in it industry after more than 20 years rapidly development. How to encounter this challenge to make transition from "Made in China" to "Chinese wisdom made"? How to make the Chinese enterprises to find a foothold and development chance in a new round competition has become one of urgent problem to solve for China’s manufacturing enterprises. One of the more critical way is efficiency improvement and optimization in supply chain management so that unceasing reduce operation cost and rapidly meet customer need.The thesis is written from the perspective of company business operation, aiming at optimization and effeciency improvement strategy in supply chain management. Adopting the research methods of literature research, case analysis, summary induction as well as Potter five model methods etc to make effective analysis on the supply chain management in GE Healthcare (China) Company. The thesis conducts an overall research, and points out GE Healthcare (China) Company’s advantage in their supply chain mangement. Meanwhile, the thesis also raises the remaining problems in the fields of raw materials management, supplier sources selection and exit mechanism and potential supply chain risk management. Basis on the detail analysis, the thesis proposes solution in above 3 major problems respectively. Therefore, this thesis has very important theoretical and realistic significance for Chinese local healthcare companies as well as Chinese local manufacture companies.
