Energy Cooperation Between China And League Of Arab States Under The Background Of The“One Belt,One Road”

Over the past two decades, energy cooperation between China and League of Arab States has been the core area of China-Arab relations. With the rapid development of china’s economy, China’s oil dependency for the Arab oil-producing countries gradually deepened, the strategic position of the Arab oil-producing countries is more and more important,energy cooperation between China and League of Arab States also made considerable progress, the effect is significant. But with the further development of China and League of Arab States Arab energy cooperation, the two sides found the breadth and depth of energy cooperation are to be improved, chances always go with challenges. In June 2014, President Xi Jinping attended the Sino-Arab Cooperation Forum in the Sixth Ministerial Conference and pointed out that China and the Arab countries build the "One belt,One road " together to build mutual benefit, safe and reliable, long-term friendly Arab energy strategic partnership focus on energy cooperation. Energy cooperation is an important part of the "One belt,One road " strategy, energy issues directly affect China’s peaceful development, in terms of our long-standing energy shortage problem, structural contradictions of energy is prominent. China is the world’s largest energy consumer, rapid economic development makes China’s demand for energy is increasing. The Arab countries have extremely rich oil and gas resources, have great potential for development. Both sides need each other,in the future, Both sides will make the "One belt,One road " strategy as an opportunity to work together to build a safe and reliable energy strategic partnership. "One belt,One road " Initiative whereas it has its unique connotation and characteristics in the cooperation, it has not only brought about opportunities for new development, but geopolitical and competitive risks as well. Therefore, the Chinese energy enterprises in the energy cooperation with the Arab countries, should properly deal with the issue from the political, economic, social, technological, etc.,bring the energy cooperation between China and the League of Arab States to a new height. I believe that the "One Belt,One Road " strategy smooth implementation will further deepen energy cooperation between China and the League of Arab States, regulating supply and demand, creating well-being of the two peoples.
