Overseas expansion in the essence of Globalization throughout China has never been a new subject of debate. Whether it’s through Cross-cultural collaboration or foreign competition, the Chinese enterprises have always been on the verge of seeking new alternatives for new expansion opportunities. In particular, the future survival of the Mining sector now presents its structural shifts within its latest Industry trends.‘The Belt and the Road Initiative(abbreviated as B&R in this context) has been commonly applied throughout China during the recent years as a replica of a much practical, yet regionalized Globalization strategy. Thus, the continuous application of B&R draws in parallel with the future interests of China’s proceedings on overseas expansion and future impacts on the nation’s Economic development, Political stability and Border control on a global scale.Formally known as ‘The Economic Belt & The Maritime Silk Road of the 21 st Century’, this is the nation’s current initiative, which consists of both land and Maritime-based economic focus that is expected to influence on the future trend of China along with the rest of the world; especially within the Mining sector. Despite the growing complexities experienced with unpredicted political climates in the continuous shift between various military power games, cultural diversities and its overall environmental concerns contribute to the essence of foreign competition, external risks are also aligned with factors such as Terrorism that further challenges the future application of the B&R.Hence, the purpose of this Thesis will begin by introducing overseas Mining resource opportunities on the basis of benefiting the development of China’s economic, Border and National security through its comparison with identified potential risks and challenges ahead followed by a recommendation to the Mining sector that integrates a holistic and practical strategic implication on the future directions of the B&R initiative in a sophisticated yet relevant manner as the demand of available mineral resources often results increased company considerations toexploit on market opportunities whilst overseas. The calculation of the ‘Analytical Hierarchical Process’(abbreviated as AHP)will be applied as the key methodology used in the backbone structure of this hypothesis. Based on a Country Risk report that titled the ‘2015 Country Risk Analysis Report: The One Economic Belt and One Silk Road and its market regions’ provided by the China Export and Credit Insurance Corporation, it provides an insightful comparison that effectively analyses 44 various countries specifically in application of B&R and its key, aligned geographic regional focus such as: the Middle East, Central Asia, South Asia and its South East Asian regions. Hence, the report segments its comparative variables on the types of identified risks from the balance of qualitative and quantitative data clustered into five broad categories as shown below:1. Global Political climates & its Social Welfare Considerations2. Regional Safety on Border control.3. Regional & Cultural Disputes4. Social Risks & Challenges5. Military uproarInterestingly, this Country Risk analysis report divides the identified Country risks(above) from 1 to 9 Ranks; where ‘Rank 9’ represents the ‘most severe risk’considerations and vice versa. The focus of Central Asia should be regarded as the key component for both the application of B&R through the continuous Research and development(R&D) in mining now signifies a new era in demand for competition in both availability of natural resources and foreign ownership. Thus, the growing considerations of the ‘Central Asia’ suggests the practicality in the need for a relevant R&D resolution that promises a safe and healthy return on investment in response to the positive outlook presented within the Mining industry.Throughout this Thesis, the application of the AHP model will intend to clarify China’s current risks and challenges experienced in this phase. In particular, the focus within the potential development and effective utilization of available natural mineral resources. Therefore, it is important to stress on the correlations between higher risks verses higher return currently experienced within Central Asia are often involved with long-term threats or risks as previously identified. Due to the reality of growing intense competition on the World’s Political stage, the strategic implementation of the China’s B&R initiative and its future development of the available mining resources in its regional application still presents many challenges ahead as it is no longer a mere competition just for the available natural mineral resources or future business development between foreign companies. Rather, it has now become a much broader subject of a much intense global competition that differs on the traditional concept of‘Foreign ownership’ between countries through its political influence. This shifting trend now triggers a speculation of a series of unexpected events. For instance, the growing concerns on rates of International crimes such as Terrorism and illegal Drugs smuggling across borders have been dramatically increased over the past few years. The R&D evidentially suggests that the application of the B&R initiative marks a new era for the growing risk considerations in social welfare and regional Border security, the issues of Territorialism often intensifies its interdependent global relations; which, through increased involvement of various Military regimes are likely to worsen and perhaps sour B&R’s original purpose of promoting a favorable,Win-Win market environment for all.In effect, the purpose of this research paper suggests the importance on China’s continuous focus on the overall prospects on the strategic improvement of social welfare and the balance of its foreign affairs as well as the promotion of foreign cooperation through increased Resource development that generates a balanced awareness in respect to various cultural diversities and partnership alliances experienced in benefit to the future of Management. Further, it offers a much skilled, concentrated, yet collaborative cross-cultural organizational workforce that contributes an agile value chain that is responsive to both foreign competition and global market opportunities as identified in Central Asia. By increasing the promotion of China’s cultural attractiveness and the further development on the impact of the“soft power”, allows Chinese Enterprises to better position themselves on the future ofthe Mining sector and its long-term development within the hearts of many.Hence, the continuous improvement of existing communication systems with its various regional alliances allows the acknowledgement to embrace cross-cultural differences beyond responsive communication systems in benefit of global competition. Further, the development of an effective communication system not only prevents any unwanted conflicts of interests for a positive partnership alliance and profitable outlook; but also offers a sustainable, value-adding promotion as a symbolic emblem to better convey China’s public image. This includes a clearance of any unwanted speculations involved with the previous questioning of ‘China Threat’or ‘China’s Potential Colonization’ that generated a wrongful impression that almost threatened the nation’s political reputation at the time.More ever, increased governmental efforts and regional alliances within Central Asia will further contribute to its political resolutions in response to the current issues experienced with ‘Sherqiy Turkistan’. By promoting its proportional Military actions for the purpose to strengthen its Political existence within Central Asia, allows China itself to take further responsibilities in respect to implement its core values as another anchor in contribution to global security. The combined efforts of various Governmental administrations, relevant Military efforts, Companies and other types of Business corporations jointly establishes and maintains the strategic implementation of the B&R initiatives to further communicate its political stability in an Economic, Social and Cultural manner.
