Study On Transformation Model Of Resources City Boosted By Tourism In Shanxi

Shanxi is China’s important energy-chemistry industry base, In the "national resources city sustainable development plan(2013-2020)" issued by the state council, the type of 13 resources cities in Shanxi province has been affirmed. Because of development of economy and the unreasonable exploitation of coal resources in Shanxi, a series of problems such as resource depletion and ecological environment destruction are emerging, Resource-based cities’ getting rid of the resource curse and transform the development have become the key of "demonstration area’s comprehensive renovation project" and "six big development" in Shanxi. Tourism industry as a comprehensive industry with the guide of whole construction machinery, is usually the one of priority choice in the transformation about a lot of resource-based cities. Tourism resources is very rich in Shanxi Province, it has obvious advantages on the development of the tourism industry. Study on the mode that how tourism can boost the transformation of Shanxi resource-based cities,which has very important practical significance.Using basic economics theory, this paper analyzes the status quo of transformation of resources cities in Shanxi Province, and probes into significance of the development of tourism industry to the transformation of resource-based city in Shanxi. In the paper Shanxi resources cities’ tourism development potential is evaluated. Reference to the relevant research both at home and abroad, it builds different new model of tourism boosting the Shanxi resources cities’ transition. First of all, in the current research status, according to the state council’s division standard of resources city, the paper analyses the four types from the whole and local level. On this basis, it studies on the significance of tourism development to the industrial structure adjustment, increasing employment and the ecological environment improvement and so on. Secondly, it evaluates from prefecture-level city and county-level city, based on 36 related indexes and the method of factor analysis and PCA analysis to evaluate 10 prefecture-level cities’ tourism development potential, and ultimately determines datong, yuncheng and so on nine resources cities’ tourism development potential is greater, gujiao city and xiaoyi city are smaller. In 3 county-level cities, the municipal tourism resources by calculation index of breadth and depth, it is concluded that huozhou tourism development potential is bigger, xiaoyi city and gujiao city tourism development potential are smaller.Finally, according to the classification of the tourism development potential and referring to typical resource-based cities’ transformation mode at home and abroad, combining with the national classification of the resources city, from the vertical and horizontal two dimensions, the paper subdivided five types of resources city tourism development, and build a suitable for different types tourism boost divides resource-based cities on new development model of transformation of resources city.
