After joining the WTO, the textile industry in China has become one of the most striking areas of the global textile industry. But in the international environment of economic globalization, with increasingly frequent trade exchanges between countries and states, trade friction between countries is also increasing, especially from developed countries, technical barriers to trade, as the most widely used today and the impact it a large trade restrictions on China’s textile trade had a very limited role. Such as complex demanding technical standards, sanitary and quarantine requirements and other developed countries in Europe and America to China textile trade TBT measures implemented to some extent limit the country’s textile exports. WTO member states to regulate the abuse of technical barriers to trade, the development of relevant international treaties "TBT Agreement" (Agreement on Technical Barriers to Trade, referred to as the "TBT Agreement") and the like. For China’s textile industry, the technical barriers to trade has become a major obstacle to China’s textile trade.Therefore, China needs to understand and study the WTO on international trade, particularly with the provisions of relevant laws and rules of the textile trade, and gradually in-depth study of the impact of technical barriers to trade of textile trade, China’s textile industry to make better development in international trade In today’s international trade situation, China’s foreign trade development should be done carefully studied TBT development process and its impact, and actively respond to the abuse of technical barriers to trade and properly resolve trade frictions international, bearing in mind the reasonable and effective use of technical barriers to trade, to protect the strategic development of China’s textile industry in international trade and to safeguard their trade interests.
