The Study On Impact Of Technical Barriers To Trade Has On China's Textile Export

With the further strengthening of economic globalization,the competition between countries is becoming increasingly fierce.As a textile exporting country,China is under the same competition from India and Vietnam.On the other hand,China is facing the pressure of trade protectionism.Due to their own legitimacy,concealment,duality,flexibility,the technical trade barriers are favored by kinds of countries.In the face of technical barriers to trade between developed and developing countries,China,as a textile exporting country,should recognize the situation and has a in-depth research on the technical barriers to trade.This paper consists of five parts,first of all,This paper consists of five parts.First of all,based on the predecessors' research,the author introduces the meaning,content and characteristics of TBT and the reasons of TBT,then it summarizes the impact of TBT on textile export and the measures to deal with TBT.Secondly,this article analyzes the theoretical basis for technical barriers to trade,from the previous research,summarizes the current quantitative indicators of technical barriers to trade and the methods of measuring the trade effects of TBT,analyzes the mechanism of action of TBT and TBT effect to the economy of the exporter.Then,it describes the current situation of export trade of textile,With the China TBT Research Center reports,analyzes TBT status of textile export trade encountered technical barriers to trade from the perspectives of global and major export markets;in summing up the current situation,finds out the new features of textile product's TBT,such as focusing on a series of children' products export,and the diffusion effect of technical barriers to trade is becoming more and more obvious.The fourth part,verifies the hypothesis from the empirical point of view.first of all,analyzes the relationship between the imports of textile product from the United States,Japan,Britain,France,Germany and the technical barriers to trade,then demonstrates the relationship between different types of textile products exports and TBT.The fifth part,according to the above description of the status,cause analysis and empirical results,the paper puts forward some proposals from the government,the industry,business.The main conclusions of this study are: 1)technical barriers to trade has a dual nature,in the short term,there is a negative correlation between technical barriers to trade and textile export trade,in the long term,there is a positive correlation between technical barriers to trade and textile export trade;2)technical barriers to trade has different effect on different types of textile export products,and the influence on clothing is greater than export of textile raw materials and the textile fabric.The innovation of this thesis lies in the empirical research,during the empirical analysis,this paper will be divided into short-term and long-term time dimension respectively,and the textile product segments in three categories,then the paper analyzes the relationship of TBT and different kinds of textile product.In addition,this paper combines with the current situation,and puts forward some new features of technical trade barriers.
