In recent years, the hotel industry is rising rapidly in China, commercial hotel is an important part of the hotel industry, which is also a new operational type of China hotel industry and has a huge development space and a strong development potential. Commercial hotel’s service object is business people-oriented, with the development of economy and the progress of society, there is an increasing demand of accommodation and catering by the business people, Chinese commercial hotel is facing an unprecedented good development environment, but it is also facing a fierce competition from the domestic and foreign relevant industry at the same time. Innovation is an essential skill for modern enterprise to survive, commercial hotel is a kind of service industry, whose production process is service providing process, so the service innovation is an important means for commercial hotel to adapt to the hotel industry development environment and competition pressure. How to change the hotel’s performance growth model by service innovation is a new problem faced by Chinese commercial hotel, exploring service innovation strategy that is suitable for the practical development status of the hotel will bring long-term benefits to commercial hotel, and is conducive to the cultivation of customer loyalty and maintenance of long-term core competitiveness. Research and practice show that the only appropriate development state of Chinese commercial hotel is through service innovation, reflecting differences in brand and achieving service product differentiation competition pattern, how to conduct service innovation strategy selection directly influences the status and development prospect of commercial hotel in Chinese hotel market.This paper used A commercial hotel as an example to explore commercial hotel’s service innovation strategy, discussing how commercial hotel to conduct service innovation so that it can maintain core competitiveness in the fierce market competition. Firstly, expounding the basic concept, connotation, involving elements, the driving force and innovation, the characteristics of commercial hotel’s service innovation, analyzing the present development situation and problems of Chinese commercial hotel; Secondly, using A commercial hotel as an example, identifying and predicting the internal and external development environment of commercial hotel’s service innovation, making a concrete analysis of the influence of internal and external environment on commercial hotel’s service innovation; Thirdly, on the basis of grasping service innovation basic idea and intensive analysis of A commercial hotel’s internal and external development environment and their influence, giving the involved elements of A commercial hotel’s service innovation from power, input and output three dimensions, based on this frame, this paper studied the service innovation strategies of A commercial hotel, sums up the generating idea and implantation process of A business hotel’s service innovation; Finally, according to the research content and conclusion, this paper puts forward related countermeasures and suggestions for the implantation process of A commercial hotel’s service innovation.
