At present a lot of agricultural products wholesaling enterprises want to establish a batch of logistics distribution centers that combine the flow of commerce, logistics and information. Therefore, the logistics distribution center has become a key link in the logistics system of agricultural products wholesale enterprises.This article first introduces the background and significance of the topic, elaborates the domestic and foreign research situation about agricultural products distribution center’s location at present, then makes a detailed description of the theoretical part, including the principle, step and method of locating distribution center, followed by the conclusion of the importance of scientific and rational planning through analyzing and researching Jiuding group distribution center planning case. Subsequently, it points out the problems that exits in the distribution center location in China recently and points out the countermeasures and suggestions. Finally, this paper makes a final conclusion that the process of agricultural product distribution center locating must be in line with Chinese national conditions and the actual situation, targeted scientific and rational planning and site selection.
