Rural Residents’ Consumption Structure In Heyuan City Lianping

Investment, consumption and net export are the three important factors to push the economy forward. And in China’s 12 th Five-Year Plan, consumption is the most for economic development 。 our country is a country with big agriculture with the village population accounts for 70% of total population above. Rural consumption has great potential, expand rural consumption market and improve the level of consumption play an obviously promotive role in stimulating consumption and enlarging domestic demand. Guangdong province is in the forefront of the national economic development and policy reform, and heyuan lianping as typical of difficult county, guangdong province, studies the rural residents’ consumption structure of lianping problems and reasons, put forward rationalization strategy for upgrading consumption structure,which is not only improve the level of consumption of rural residents in the region and develop rural consumption market and improving the consumption behavior of the past, but also to get the development of our national economy stably.This paper takes the consumption structure of rural residents in Lianping, heyuan city as the research object. Firstly, after elaborating research background, significance of the topic,domestic and international research status and review, consumption structure and rural residents and related concepts are defined. Sort out the relevant consumption economic theory,including engel’s law, under the uncertainty of consumption theory and lifecycle theory. Then,with the structure of actual consumption data of Lianping rural residents in 2008-2013 years,the longitudinal explore rural incomes, consumption changes and average propensity are analyzed. Further in-depth analysis will show the structure and trends of Lianping rural residents by means of statistical data. The consumption structure of Lianping is also compared with other counties’ in Heyuan city. Through the analysis, we find that the problem of the current consumption structure of rural residents Lianping presence, including major consumption structure upgrading slow, survival consumption is high and irrational structure and other aspects of obvious characteristics, are mainly due to lower levels of income of rural residents, consumer attitudes lag and consumer market has not been improved. Finally, based on the above analysis, we propose suggestions of optimizing the consumption structure ofrural residents. The suggestions are broaden the rural consumer markets, increase and improve the social security system and multi-channel income of rural residents.
