Evaluation Of Farmers’ Professional Cooperatives’ Social Responsibility Based On The Perspective Of Membership

To fulfill the social responsibility has become the primary condition for sustainable management of the farmers’ professional cooperatives. Farmers’ professional cooperatives to fulfill their social responsibilities can not only achieve the purpose of sustainable management,but also improve their social image and the overall growth of cooperatives. Farmers’ professional cooperative is an important lifeline for the development of rural economy, and if the implementation of the social responsibility of farmers’ professional cooperatives can be strengthened, it will have a great help of the overall development of the rural economy.Members are the core of the cooperatives, and evaluatingsocial responsibility of farmers’ professional cooperatives from the angle of membership has become one of the basic strategies to achieve sustainable management for the farmers’ professional cooperatives. Only to fulfill the social responsibility of the members, cooperatives can be a normal and orderly development, so as to promote the interests of other stakeholders to be achieved, and ultimately achieve the full performance of social responsibility.Firstly, this paper reviews and summarizes the connotation of corporate social responsibility, stakeholder theory and social contract theory in the evaluation theory of corporate social responsibility,the index system and evaluation methods of corporate social responsibility of scholars in various periods. On the basis of a large amount of literatures about the social responsibility of the farmers’ professional cooperatives, the author makes a summary and analysis.Secondly, this paper analyzes the connotation, purpose and characteristics of the farmer professional cooperatives, makes a concrete analysis of the similarities and differences between the enterprise, and lists the social responsibility of the vegetable &fruit class of farmers’ professional cooperatives to the members in Guanzhong area. Through the field investigation and study, this study explores the current situation of the social responsibility of the farmers’ professional cooperatives to the members in Guanzhong area. Combined with the existing literatures, the author constructs a set of scientific,systematic, comprehensive, operational index system of the social responsibility of thevegetable &fruit class of farmers’ professional cooperatives to the members in Guanzhong area, including the organization and management, providing services, economic interests,organizational development,and subjective perception five aspects. Using analytic hierarchy process to determine the weight of each index, and applyingfuzzycomprehensive to get the evaluation resultsfrom the perspective of members of the vegetable &fruit class of farmers’ professional cooperatives in Guanzhong area. Finally, the paper gets gives the targeted advice and improvement measures.Subjective perception and organizational development are good aspects. On the contrary, providing services, organization and management, and economic interests are poor.Vegetable &fruit class of farmers’ professional cooperatives in Guanzhong area exist the following problems: shortage of funds restricted the development of cooperatives,be lack of plant protection service and animal epidemic prevention service, after-sales service is an urgent need to improve, democratic decision-making system needs to be improved, farmers’ awareness of cooperatives is not enough, economic benefits are in urgent need of raise.Finally, according to the existing problems, the paper puts forward some suggestions and measures for improvement.
