A Study On The Influence Of Investment And Consumption On The Economic Growth Of Shaanxi Province

Both investment and consumption can drive the economic growth, the influencing principle of them to the economic growth is not the same,Studying on the influencing factors of the economic growth from the view of investment and consumption is very necessary in Shaanxi Province,so the problem has been discussed,and main contents have been as follows:First of all, for nearly 20 years, it has been found that investment and consumption the economic growth in the process of comparative research on current situation of investment, consumption and economic growth in Shaanxi Province; Second, a vector autoregressive VAR model has been established with investment rate, consumption rate and economic growth data in Shaanxi Province, it is found that there is a cointegration relationship between investment and consumption and economic growth in Shaanxi Province with cointegration test, and the economic growth rate is affected by the impact of the rate of investment in the short term,and the economic growth rate is affected by consumption rate after impact in the short term with impulse response function analysis and variance decomposition analysis, the rate of investment contribution to economic growth rate is above 10%, the consumption rate of contribution to economic growth rate has been low. Finally, according to the extension of the Solow model, a empirical analysis has been carried the data of investment segments and consumer segments and economic growth rate of GDP data,the research shows that the economy of Shaanxi province have had a certain degree of excessive investment, and the government investment is excessive, private investment on economic growth overall promotion, and more than the output elasticity of government investment on economic growth.At the same time, economic growth has been driven by investment,lack of sustainability. The field of blind investment should be avoided to increase, the investment in the infrastructure, science and technology, and education still further need to increase, private investment on economic growth has been overall promotion, but one of the first to the industrial areas of investment have been excessive,at the same time, economic growth has been driven by investment and lack of sustainability.
