Energy is essential for human survival and development, is crucial to the national economy and security. Since the reform and opening up in 1978, China has entered the era of rapid industrialization, especially the development of the manufacturing sector has maked China to be the world’s factory, Chinese economy has sustained rapid growth., China has become the world’s energy consuming countries, energy has become a bottleneck restricting China’s economic growth after decades of rapid development.Since the "welfth Five-Year Plan"published, energy supply situation has become profound adjustment, energy resources become increasingly competitive. Developing countries accelerate the process of industrialization and modernization, energy consumption will continue to increasing, the supply of global energy resources long-term will become more prominent. The next decade, the incremental energy demand in developing countries accounted for about 85%on the global energy increment. Secondly, the problem of pollution of fossil energy consumption on the environment caused the worsening climate. We face enormous consumption of energy resources and the enormous pressure of environmental pollution. We should accelerate the changes in the way of energy consumption, optimize energy consumption structure, building a "secure, stable, economical and clean" modern energy industry system. It possess important strategic significance for ensuring the healthy and sustainable development of our economy and society. The State Council issued the "the five energy development plan" in the 2013. Its contents include green development and build a resource-saving and environment-friendly society". This shows that China’s economic development must to turn to the rode of improving energy efficiency and Conservation of resource. Therefore, the study of changes in energy intensity factor is important for the transformation of China’s economic development. In this paper,l take the energy consumption intensity factors as the core, analysis chinese 29 manufacturing industries with the Logarithmic mean Di’s index. I draw some important conclusions. This has a certain significance for government departments to formulate relevant policies. The following are the main contents and conclusions of this article.1. Carefully analyze the research results at home and abroad to study the factors affecting the strength of various energy consumption decomposition method is proposed using logarithmic mean Di’s index study factors influencing the strength of decomposition method and significance of China’s manufacturing energy consumption.2. This article explains some of the concepts and classification energy intensity and energy efficiency. At the same time, I introduced the complete decomposition of Lagrangian decomposition method and the average number of Di’s index.3.1 analyzed the 11 manufacturing sectors and 29 industries, based on the decomposition model of energy consumption intensity LMDI. This problem solves the interaction terms appearing in the decomposition process, and completely decomposed the interaction term. Meaningwile it does not appear unexplained remainder, model structure close to actual error. At last, all the total effect of items for he decomposition have been reflected.4.1 used the branches of manufacturing value added the problem of double-measurement of total manufacturing output data for energy intensity decomposition caused, It makes the output of the various departments and consistent division have the same level. In order to make the decomposition results more convincing, I use the same decomposition caliber, and converted the value to 2010’value for each year unified.5. We have a comprehensive analysis of influence of various factors on the Chinese manufacturing industry’s energy consumption intensity from 1998 to 2012, based on energy consumption intensity of LMDI model.at last, we make some conclusions and recommendations on policy.
