Research On The Relationship Of Geographical Resource Endowment And New Urbanization

New urbanization construction is a process which is based on the principle of people-oriented, sustainable and stable development of people’s living standard. The development of the city expansion and urban industrial structure will reflect on the space. Cities’ scale expansion along with the economic development need enough geographical space for support. The change of combined resource location reflects the potential of market development, and the size of the potential is bound by regional geography. Studying on the geography resources endowment and the regional traffic impacts on urbanization can better realize the integration between urban and rural development and promote urbanization construction. This paper is on the theme of urbanization construction, combining with the theory of factor endowments, regional theories of geography economics and new economic geography theory to analyze the mechanism of urbanization and geographical resources endowment effect on urbanization construction,and briefly analyze the problems existing in the western urbanization then offering some related suggestions. In this paper, the first chapter is a introduction to my work, the second have a brief introduction for the concepts of urbanization and new urbanization, the resources endowment theory and the location theory on economics geographical, the third make a brief introduction to the operating mechanism of urbanization combining with the new economic geography, the fourth gives a brief analysis of the problems existing in the development process of urbanization in western region and the fifth offer suggestions on the western urbanization. In the process of urbanization, we should respect the rules of economic development, formulate industrial layout according to regional resource superiority and make a transition from original resource-driven for growth to capital-driven,technology-driven and innovation-driven, improve infrastructure construction both traffics and communications between urban and rural, the public infrastructure service for towns and counties,cancel the institutional barriers between urban and rural areas to lower the cost of exchange, and increase the investment of education for county toimprove her human capital and realize harmonious development between urban and rural areas.
