High performance work systems combine each employee’s strengths together and apply them to work with maximum flexibility. It is an effective method to improve the employee’s work involvement and the enterprise performance. In order to fully benefit from the high performance work systems, the analysis of the current Internal and external situations and the actual needs of the company are needed. And the corresponding strategies should be formulated.In this paper, a survey was conducted to examine the phenomenon that during the conversion from the start-up stage to the steady development stage, the effect of performance incentive was not evident and the employee satisfaction decreased in LH Company. The questionnaire involved personnel selection, performance evaluation, incentive wages, job design, information sharing, attitude survey, employee relationship management and other human resources management issues. Factor analysis of the results shows that the employees have relatively high organizational commitment and there is no turnover intention. Nevertheless the major problem is occupational burnout of the employees. Some employees consider that the company did not establish an effective performance distribution system and an open communication channel. Also, the training cannot fully play its role and the employee satisfaction reduces. To solve these problems, LH Company introduced high performance work systems to diagnose the current status of the company. The cause of the problems was analyzed and the targeted improvement measures were proposed in the paper. The improvement measures are as follows:establish effective performance appraisal systems to motivate employees to complete the tasks; perfect the distribution systems that are determined by the performance. The income should be distributed on the base of each employee’s performance to achieve the organizational performance; make full use of the assessment results to form the result-determined income distribution systems; open communication channels to satisfy the employee’s emotional needs and to discover and solve the problems; provide a platform for the employees to make comments; develop the order-form training to increase the efficiency of the training process; Satisfy the employees’ need of upgrading the abilities; Help the employees to plan their career, and build a talent pool for the company; also, solve the problem of glass ceiling, enhance the sense of belonging and centripetal force; Guide staff to face the pressure actively and scientifically; try to break the long-term stability of the working mode, and rotate the positions scientifically; Avoid general skilled employees working in the same position for a long time, especially those employees whose positions are of high repeatability. They will feel boring and maybe cause a job burnout. Continuously raise the overall strength of the company, keeping the company developing. The introduction and application of high performance work systems in LH Company shows a positive influence on the enterprise performance.
