Current Situation On Social Service And Its Strategy Research Of China Geological Cores And Samples Information Website

The Development of Internet technology has changed the way people obtain information fundamentally. Meanwhile, by analyzing five indicators of the website, named annual renewal rate, page views, the number of the visitors, geographical distribution of the viewers and users access to sources, combining with questionnaire, the author put up with several problems with the website, such as imperfect management system, poor service conception, incomplete information sharing, simple service type, unsound English version, and low visibility, and then analyzed the causes of these problems.To solve the above problems and improve services of the website, the author proposed some countermeasures and suggestions systematically from the perspective of rationalizing management system, changing service ways, enhancing resources gathering and sharing, developing service products, constructing data center, strengthening English website construction, as well as expanding website propaganda.This research played an important role in strengthening social service of China Geological Cores and Samples Information Website, improving national geological cores and samples gathering and sharing, as well as leading and demonstrating the provincial geological cores and samples archives of online services of the website, so as to support urban development, prevent and mitigate disaster, and assure the sustainable development of mineral resources.
