The long-term use of the domestic electric power design enterprises is the planned economy system and the mode of thinking. It’s operating mechanism and incentive mechanism is also deeply disturbed by the consciousness of the times. As a result, the design process of electric power design enterprise is out of line with the market demand, and has not adapted to the increasingly fierce market competition. The domestic electric power design enterprises are trying to rengineer the design process, in order to adapt to the development of the market environment. It’s an urgent need that how to complete the process reengineering as soon as possible and format of new market competitiveness, has been the domestic power design enterprises.In this thesis compar with the international engineering company’s organization mode and work flow. It is found that the management mode of digital integrated design is closely related to the international engineering company’s production and operation mode. International engineering company usually use EPC (engineering procurement construction) project management mode. The concern is the overall operating results of the project. They have very high requirements about the consistency of design data and the multi link reuse of design data. Domestic electric power design enterprises have been to complete the design work of the drawings for a long time. They pay few consideration with the follow-up procurement and construction of the coordination. So they don’t pay enough attention for the design data. When they use the application of digital integrated design, they also use the traditional drawing process. This way of use failed to play its actual effect, and even impact on the design efficiency. Through comparative analysis we can see that the design of digital integrated is a new design mode. It was impacted by organizational structure and design proces. If the electric power design enterprise wanted to making full use of digital integrated design advantages that the BPR (Business Process Reengineering) has become the only way to the electric power design enterprise development.This thesis analyzes the conflict of the current power design enterprises that between the traditional drawing design production process and the new design production process of digital tools. According to the theory of BPR, the contradiction between the existing design process and digital design tools are analyzed. Using literature study, comparative analysis, case analysis, etc, according to the characteristics of the electric power design and the characteristics of the digital design tools, Finally using the process reengineering to solve this problem. The thesis analyzes the effect of the process reengineering based on the application of the test project and prospects the next step of the process reengineering.
