The sixth census data shows that, the rate of aging population continues to increase with the demographic dividend dropping significantly,the manpower cost in the enterprise,especially manufacturing enterprise,staying high, the people replaced by the machine will be the trend. Also in the 12th five-year plan, the Strategic new industrial will take a new round of economic and technology development,including high-end equipment manufacturing industrial, the new materials,the new energy and the like, especially the high-end equipment manufacturing industrial. The Industrial robots will surely get fast development because it is the preferred choice to solve the problem of manufacturing labor shortages and costs,at the same time, it is also an important part of the high-end equipment manufacturing industrial,it will surely get fast development.Since the starting of industrial robots project at Wuhu, Wuhu has won the policy support from the nation and the government, particularly the pilot implementation of strategic emerging industry cluster development in Anhui province has formally replied by the national development and reform commission and the ministry of finance. The project supports to form an industrial robot industrial cluster concluding Wuhu,Hefei,Ma Anshan, and regard Wuhu as the leader. In order to make the project implement smoothly, Wuhu government has set up the special funds and taken a series of measures including equity investment, equity incentives, financial subsidies and so on. Therefore, under the condition of the background, the research on the development of the industrial robots has an important strategic significance.The article uses the literature analysis method, qualitative method and quantitative analysis method for research, and adhere to the theoretical analysis and practice analysis unifies. First of all, according to the literature analysis method, the paper systematically explains the related concepts of industrial robots, and focuses on the theoretical foundation such as PEST analysis model, porter five competitive model and SCP analysis paradigm. Secondly, the text uses the model and the quantitative and qualitative analysis methods to analyze the micro development environment, the competition environment and the micro environment of the industrial robot. The result shows that the industrial robot industry development at Wuhu has a certain industry base, but it remains to strengthen the core technology research and development, the independent brand advantage, industrial agglomeration effect, application field, policy support dynamics and so on. Finally, for the existing deficiency, the article puts forward the correspondence industrial development countermeasure, including to realize the breakthrough of the core technology, to create our own brands, to format the industrial agglomeration effect as soon as possible, to enlarge the application scope of downstream and to complete the macroscopic policy safeguards.Through the analysis and the study in the paper, the reader can make a further understanding of the present situation for the development of industrial robots at Wuhu and can have a new perspective and new ideas for the future development.
