Research On The Influencing Factors Of Farmers Participating Farmer Cooperative

Specialized cooperative economic organizations of farmers to diversify the "small farmers" together, so that the fanners can improve the degree of organizations of agricultural products and reduce the production cost and transaction cost in the agricultural production and sales process. Meanwhile, the development of the farmers’ specialized cooperative economy organizations is slow, the actual adding number of farmers is still low, which is not good for the sustainable development of farmers’ specialized cooperative economic organizations. The development of farmers’ specialized cooperative economic organization should be based on respect for the willingness of farmers, thus, This paper will take the Xinyu city of Jiangxi as an example to explore the influence factors of farmers’ willingness to join the specialized cooperative economic organizations through a number of theory and empirical measures, to reveal the factors which hinder the current fanners of Xinyu city to join the specialized cooperative economic organizations, which is of practical significance to the healthy and sustainable development of the farmers’ specialized cooperative economic organizations of our country.Using the theory of the firm, the cobweb theory, transaction cost theory, public choice theory, principal agent theory and the statistical analysis method,his paper analyzes on the willingness of farmers to join the cooperative economic organization, based on the summary analysis relevant literatures at home and abroad,famers’ conduct of joining the specialized cooperative economic organizations is also described in the statistical analysis and empirical logistic model, based on the he survey data of 195 households in the city of Xinyu, it leads to the results:fanners’ gender, the understanding of the specialized cooperative economy organization and the support of government has a significant positive impact on farmers’ willing to join the specialized cooperative economic organizations.Based on the empirical results above, this paper puts forward suggestions from three angles:the farmers themselves angle, farmers specialized cooperative economic organizations angle and government angle.
