Impact Degree Analysis Of Trade Facilitation In China-ASEAN FTA Agricultural Trade

With the development of economic globalization and international trade, developing economy entities have huge room to improve on the facilitation level, and are gathering great potential for trade, so the researches on facilitation in developing countries emerge constantly. China-ASEAN free trade area which dominated by developing countries so far has got into the formal operation stage with the development more than ten years. During this time, study on the effects of facilitation influence direction and the level keeps along, and the economic benefits of trade facilitation logically have more clearly reflected. It still has great realistic significance to clarify the economic benefits of trade facilitation for China-ASEAN free trade area trade by the empirical method.Most of the literature measuring the level of trade facilitation, there are also many scholars making a quantitative analysis through empirical method. Based on the experience of predecessors, this paper research the changes on the effect of trade facilitation for China-ASEAN free trade area agricultural trade.With the development of China-ASEAN free trade area, time spanning, it becomes possible and necessary to analysis the impact of trade facilitation by officially establishing the watershed in the longer time. This paper adopts the combination method of theoretical and empirical research. Combing the basic theory of trade facilitation and, interpreting each index during constructing the system, which searches for theoretical basis for the construction of evaluation system. Based on this carried on the empirical analysis, it is estimated that the trade facilitation in China-ASEAN free trade area impact of changes in agricultural trade.This paper firstly introduces the research background and significance of full text and makes a brief review of related theory and literature, positioning and clarifying the framework. Then, constructing the index system of trade facilitation, based on which makes contrast analysis. After that conducting empirical analysis by establishing the econometric model. Finally summarizing the conclusion of quantitative analysis and put forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions to further enhance the level of facilitation.Trade facilitation gradually become a hot problem in international trade area, where has rich literature and great reference value. Empirical studies of trade facilitation focuses more on the static function of facilitation in trade instead of dynamic effect. The purpose of this paper is to,China-ASEAN free trade area as the main body, study change of influence degree of facilitation for agricultural trade. The first step is to build trade facilitation measure system to calculate the level of trade facilitation,and then to analysis the assessment results of China-ASEAN countries, on the basic of which to lead the empirical process. During the process, the main point is to step wise regression with related data from 2002 to 2014 through the establishment of the gravity model. The result is that the index of trade facilitation TFI is maximum value of the coefficient concluded in all variables, and has the largest effects on the bilateral trade volume of agricultural products at 1% significant level. The influence degree of facilitation for China-ASEAN agricultural products trade strengthen to some extent around 2009.Finally, counter measures are put forward for above analysis to play the effect of trade facilitation in a greater extent.
