Research On Trade Facilitation In China-ASEAN Free Trade Area

The World Economy is in the post-crisis era,with the world economic structure in the deep adjustment?the global demand receding and the change in a new round of international trade institution,the foreign trade of China—ASEAN faces enormous external challenge.Therefore,it is necessary to promote China-ASEAN bilateral trade cooperation immediately.Since the establishment of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area,bilateral political mutual trust has been growing,.economic and trade relations have made positive progress,the relationship is from the "golden decade" to the “diamond decade”.However,the problems still exsites.But there are some problemsfacing challenges,in recent years,bilateral trade and economic growth decreases,before this economic and trade cooperation relied mainly on tariff cuts,which does promote the development,but the simply cutting down tariff barriers cannot meet the demand of further development of China-ASEAN,to further excavate potential trade,it needs to focus on promoting the construction of trade facilitation.The introduction of WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement offers suggestion for the development trend of China-ASEAN trade facilitation.Strengthening the China-ASEAN FTA trade facilitation construction has important significance to promote the development of regional economic integration,to strengthen regional cooperation and promote the competitiveness of The Belt and Road construction.China and ASEAN face each other across the see,which are important trade partners as well.They can further consolidate the bilateral trade and economic relations,optimize China regional cooperation with ASEAN and promote bilateral friendship,mutual support,cooperation and win-win,long-term development through trade facilitation.Firstly,this paper discusses the concept,development trend and influence of China-ASEAN trade facilitation.Then,combined with the current situation of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area,the paper selects the scientific indicators to evaluate the level of trade facilitation.Finally,this paper discusses the effectiveness of the measures and the problems that still existedand provides suggestions for the development of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area.
