Study On The Influential Factors Of Trade Facilitation In China-Asean Free Trade Area

In order to further promote the process of globalization,countries in the world have come to realize that only by developing free trade can their economies be further developed,but because of the great differences in the level of global economic development,there is a trade deficit in trade exchanges between countries.Some countries will add some trade protection measures in the import and export process,which seriously affects the trade exchange between countries.Therefore,the new topic of trade facilitation has attracted the attention of major economic organizations and scholars.In recent years,major international organizations and countries around the world increasingly believe that trade facilitation is a new driving force for the expansion of multilateral trade,which can promote trading countries to reduce international trade barriers.Customs clearance procedures and improve import and export efficiency.Most of the Asian countries are developing countries,the demand for economic development is large,the economic development model is similar,so the establishment of China-ASEAN Free Trade area is expected,and it is agreed that 90% of the commodities in member countries will be subject to zero tariff trade after the completion of the free trade zone.In order to promote the further development of multilateral trade in the free trade zone,it is the only way to explore and improve the level of trade facilitation in the free trade zone.Trade facilitation is a key issue that China and ASEAN countries need to pay attention to.First of all,through combing the relevant research literature,this paper briefly introduces the research status and related theories of trade facilitation;secondly,from many aspects of the Based on the analysis of the cooperation base and trade status of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Zone,the paper explores the unfavorable factors that restrict the development of trade facilitation in China-ASEAN Free Trade Zone,and then,according to the evaluation system of trade facilitation degree proposed by Wilson(2003),According to the Global Competitiveness Report published by the World Economic Organization for the period 2011-2018 and the Global Promotion Trade Report,the main component analysis of the relevant indicators is made,and the trade facilitation degree of the countries in the FTZ is calculated.The results show that the overall trade facilitation level of the FTZ is low.On this basis,according to the volume of import and export trade published in the Statistical Yearbook of China(2010 / 2018),the fifth part calculates the correlation degree analysis of the selected influencing factors by using the greycorrelation degree model.This paper compares the different effects of four first-level indicators related to trade facilitation on trade flows and the different effects of trade facilitation on bilateral trade flows in import and export countries.The results show that the port efficiency environment of the four indicators can promote the improvement of the level of trade facilitation,followed by the development of e-commerce environment,leading to the increase of trade volume.In terms of the overall trend,the impact of the four indicators on the level of trade facilitation is the most significant.From large to small is port efficiency,e-commerce environment,regulatory environment,customs environment.The results of the empirical analysis show that the improvement of the level of trade facilitation requires the member countries in the free trade area to jointly enhance their own infrastructure construction.Finally,this paper puts forward some suggestions on how to improve the level of trade facilitation in the free trade area from three aspects: attaching importance to the promotion of key indicators,strengthening regional negotiation and cooperation,and promoting the industrial structure adjustment to form complementary.The main contribution of this paper is to select reasonably the indicators of trade facilitation,and use SPSS 20.0 software to carry out principal component analysis and calculate the trade of member countries.Facilitation level;Then,according to the data from 2011 to 2018,using the gray correlation degree model,taking the trade flow as the reference series and the four first-level indicators as the comparison series,the influence of the four influencing factors on the trade flow was comprehensively considered.The weight values of the four influencing factors are sorted.
