The reform and opening-up policy has been over 30 years old, since 1978 in China; the geological exploration has yet to achieve a fundamental change, on the whole still retains the system of organization and management of the central planning, the main part of geological exploration----Geological Prospecting Breaus or treams,it is still fully-funded institutional organization, the investment is main parts of financial resources, in geological exploration and mineral work, so the geological prospecting results or achievement had come down substantially, most of the geological prospecting breaus or treams to be in a difficult circumstance has not improve obviously.According to Sichun Breau of Coal Geological Exploration, the business of geological exploration, on the basis of related theories of strategic management to my local exploration business development, the external environment were analyzed. It is pointed out that the reform of institutions and the mining right market competition is becoming increasingly fierce, the demand of coal resources facing low carbon economy, energy saving and emission reduction, a great challenge is an important constraint on the business market development, also there are opportunities for development; analysis of Sichun Breau of Coal Geological Exploration of geological exploration business advantages, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, combined with my administration, strategic vision and goals, a strategic choice.This research not only has important guiding value of practice for the reform and development of Sichun Breau of Coal Geological Exploration, but also has some reference for promoting the reform of our country institutional organization.
