Migrant workers migrate to the cities and make a living through urban employment. Employment stability is essential to the survival and development of this group in the cities. This paper conducts a questionnairesurvey on the stability of migrant workers’ employment, namely, stability of occupation on a micro level and the current situation of urbanization in Jinniu District, Chengdu analyzing the stability of migrant workers’employment and the current situation of the stability of workers’ employment on urbanization.First of all, according to the study of the existing literature and academic materials, this paper takes the term of employment as a measure of employment stability,Citizens of urbanization measured by five dimensions,including the economic level, the cultural level, the political level, the social level, as well as psychological level. By descriptive statistical analysis, the employment of migrant workers in Jinniu distinct, Chengdu is of short term and heavy mobility. The employment situation is unstable. Five dimensions of urbanization develops unsteadily, mainly presented on the highly developed urbanization at the dimensions of material and nonmaterial, which is also known as the level of economic and culture. While there’s still obstacle in some advanced dimensions, which presents worse in the process of urbanization, such as the level of politics, society and psychology.Next, using multiple regression analysis, this paper analysis the effect of the employment stability on urbanization, and draw relevant conclusions.Firstly, on the influence of the traditional characteristics of variables, education level and vocational training condition exhibited significant influence on the citizenship, which are making the significant positive effect on citizenship. Therefore,It has important significance.to promote the urbanizationprocess by development of the related policies to enhance the cultural and educational level and the promotion of vocational training participation. Secondly, on the variablesof employment stability, employment tenure passed the significant test. Employment tenure showed a significant positive correlation to five dimensions of the public, which demonstrated that, it can promote development of migrant workers in the citizenshipprocess by the development of sound public policy recommendations to increase employment stability.Thirdly, by observingthe influence level of the employmentstability on urbanization of each dimension, we can find that employment term exhibit different degrees on each dimension. These two higher degrees of citizenship in the social dimension and the psychological dimensions arelower than the level of citizenship of economic dimension, the cultural dimension and political dimension regardless of the degree of influence or a significant factor.According to the analysis, the difference of impact is attributed to the low quality of the employment stability of migrant workers. Due to thelimitations of binary systems, their low human capital and the inadequate support from social organizations, migrant workers are mostly in the lower occupational levels, making the status about thestability of employment presenting a lower level.Working on the low-level employment positions in order to survive is a passive choose, making migrant workers forming a certain degree of impedimentin a higher level of social integration and the psychological level of the citizenship. Therefore, an effective public policy should include three aspects:policy, migrant workers themselves and support of public organizations, promote the "quality" improvement of employment stability.Finally, combining conclusions, draw effective policy recommendations from the micro, meso and macro aspects of these three.The micro level, promote employment stability "quality" to enhance individual from enhance human capital, cultural literacy. At the meso level, by building up the social support networks regarding enterprises, communities, social organizations as the subjects, maintain a high level in the employment stability of migrant workers and further promote the citizenship level in social inclusion aspects as well as psychological aspects. At the macro level, through the establishment of a unified employment permit system, the improvement of the employment service system and the better employment environment, establish a system of social security, create social integration environment for migrant workers and form social mechanism of upward mobility, ensuringthe citizenship process of migrant workers be conducted steadily.
