| Food is the material basis of human survival. Since the reform and opening-up, with the development of economy and living standards, consumers pay more and more attention to the food quality, meat products have gradually become the main content of food consumption for residents. However, food safety issues continue to expose, which brought great harm to the health of the vast number of consumers,and caused significant economic losses to the society.Therefore, how to reduce the probability of the occurrence of the safety accident, ensure “the safety of the tongueâ€, has become a challenge for China’s food safety regulatory.This paper takes Hebei Province as an example, research the current consumption of meat products, take the production of meat products as the entry point, the risk regulation as the research perspective, analyse the risk factors in the production of meat products of Hebei Province. The paper explore the laws and regulations on the risk regulation in food, to analyze the problems existing in the process of regulation, and to put forward the corresponding policy recommendations.Through the relevant theoretical research, analyse the causes of food safety risk from the perspective of Economics, the main conclusion is that: first, the information asymmetry is the root cause of food safety risk; second, the problem of negative externalities cause high quality food to be expelled from the market; third, increase the psychological beggar my neighbour opportunism behavior tendency of food production enterprises. Based on the research of Hebei Province, the risk of the production of meat products is divided into three categories:the risk of raw materials, production processes and risk in production management. This paper combinates risk theory and regulation theory together, analyse three aspects of the regulatory system, laws and means of regulation in Hebei Province of food safety risk problems and deficiencies, and based on this, put forward policy recommendations. |
