Agriculture is the foundation industry that the human beings rely on. With the development of social productivity, agricultural connotation has been enriched. Agricultural development is affected not only by factors such as geographical environment and climate conditions, but also by factors such as the level of agricultural infrastructure, agricultural technology, quality of agricultural workers and market environment. The analysis of these factors not only affects the agricultural economic benefits, but also helps to further enhance the competitiveness of agriculture. Agricultural development pattern of Guangxi various cities has its own characteristic due to the difference of natural resources endowment, location conditions and agricultural foundation, so the agricultural competitiveness is uneven.Based on the related agricultural competitiveness, this paper combined with the actual situation of Guangxi to build the evaluation index system which was applied to agricultural competitiveness of Guangxi. The evaluation index mainly included six first-class index such as the competitiveness of agricultural resource base, competitiveness of agricultural market, competitiveness of agricultural technology, competitiveness of agricultural production efficiency, competitiveness of agricultural production structure and competitiveness of agricultural sustainable development. This paper used the factor analysis method to determine the five main factors and sorted the agricultural competitiveness of Guangxi various cities and the agricultural competitiveness in Guilin was the number one. On the basis of factor analysis,14 cities in Guangxi could be divided into three regions using five main factor scores for clustering analysis. Finally, according to the different characteristics of different regions proposed the following suggestions:for the first kind of minimum agricultural competitiveness regions, namely, Baise, Hechi, Laibin, Chongzuo, mainly through perfected infrastructure and optimized the structure of agricultural production to improve the agricultural competitiveness of the region. For the second category region with higher agricultural competitiveness, namely, Nanning, Liuzhou, Wuzhou, Yulin, mainly through strengthened the science and technology and expanded new operators to enhance the agricultural competitiveness of the regions. For the third category region with highest agricultural competitiveness, namely, Fangchenggang, Guigang, Qinzhou, Hezhou, Guilin, Beihai, mainly through perfected agricultural protection system and market system to enhance the agricultural competitiveness.
