At present, the social security system for landless peasants is not perfect, the legitimate rights and interests of the landless peasants can not be effectively maintained, and various conflicts occur frequently, which seriously affect the social harmony. Therefore, the research on the social security system of landless peasants is of theoretical and practical significance. First, the establishment of social security system of landless peasants is the concrete embodiment of the implementation of urban and rural overall strategy; secondly, the establishment of social security system of landless peasants can make up for the lack of social security system in urban and rural areas; finally, the establishment of social security system for landless peasants can reflect social harmony and maintain social harmony. In the face of the problem of land lost farmers, our country has carried on the reform in order to adapt to the changing situation. Taking Zaozhuang Tengzhou City County as an example, this paper adopts the research methods of literature analysis, questionnaire and system analysis to study the mechanism of protecting farmers’rights and interests under the perspective of politics, society, law, management and so on. Firstly, through the investigation of the status quo of the social security of landless peasants in Tengzhou City, the paper analyzes the problems in the social security of landless peasants in the process of urbanization in Tengzhou City. Secondly, the causes of the social security of landless peasants in the process of urbanization are analyzed. Finally, on the basis of summarizing and analyzing the successful experience of domestic and abroad, the paper puts forward suggestions and Countermeasures to the social security of landless peasants in the process of urbanization in Tengzhou City. I hope to provide a reference for social security work in Tengzhou City, the city development and make a little contribution.
