The Research Of Lean Manufacturing Implementation In BBS Of Company B

In recent years, with the fast changing of global economic situation, most of the enterprises are facing more and more pressures from cost control. In order to survive and grow in the fierce competition, these enterprises need to increase their competency in cost control and production efficiency improvement. Under this background, to implement lean manufacturing has become the most effective method for these enterprises to enhance their competitive power. This thesis chooses BBS business unit as the subject to study. Making analysis to the existing problems in BBS by taking its actual situation into consideration. Based on this study, this thesis introduced BPS theory into BBS for daily operating management, also developed improvement solutions which are fit for BBS.This thesis made a deep study on its process flow, layout of production line as well as supply chain management. Lists existing issues in BBS business unit, such as unbalance of production line, 6S management, inventory control as well as corporate culture development. Based on BPS guiding ideology and mythology, this thesis also developed improvement solutions for BBS.In order to ensure the successful implementation of BPS in BBS business unit, this thesis also provide the safeguards for these improvement solutions, such as set up the group for BPS implementation, set up learning organization, cultivate excellent corporate culture, encourage TPM and set up incentive mechanism for BPS. It’s estimated that BBS can significantly improve its performance on cost control and production efficiency after implementing BPS.
