The Research On Energy Industry Of Shaanxi Province Under The View Of Low-Carbon Economy

Energy is the material foundation of the national economic and social development. The degree of the energy industrial development is an important sign of the economic development and people living standard in one country and one area. In recent years, the demand of energy is increasing gradually with the development of the economic society, which results in the problems of the energy security more and more seriously, such as the demand-supply contradictions and the environmental pollutions. Therefore, the thoughts about the low-carbon and green development are becoming very popular. As a major energy-abundant province, Shaanxi province has high percentage of the resource intensive industries, so the low-carbon and scientific development of the energy industries is in relation to economic development and social advancement.It’s the first year of the 13th Five-Year Plan, and also the critical year for the energy industry development in Shaanxi province. This paper studies the energy industry development of Shaanxi province, and offers the solutions and strategies under the vision of low-carbon economy.On the foundation of investigating up-to-date research findings, through referring to document literatures such as China Statistical Yearbook, China Energy Statistical Yearbook, China Low Carbon Yearbook, China Statistical Yearbook on Environment, Shaanxi Statistical Yearbook etc, this thesis synthetically uses the fundamental tenets of Marxism, low-carbon economy theory and industry development theory to analyse current situations of energy industry development in Shaanxiform"11th Five-Year". The problems contain such as serious environment pollutions, unreasonable structure ineffective energy using, low technological level and innovative ability and hysteretic development of new energy industry. This thesis uses core-competitiveness and regional economic theory, setting an evaluating model of core-competitiveness of energy industry in Shaanxi province. Besides this thesis evaluates from six aspects:resource, policy, technology, talents, finance and market. It educed the advantages and disadvantages of energy industries in Shaanxi compared to other areas. At last, considering concrete situations of the low-carbon economy and energy industry, this paper made the targeted strategies and suggestions which were making further effects on saving energy and decreasing energy consumption, accelerating transformation of energy industry, enhencing innovation ability in the circular economy development, improving and perfecting the policy system of the low-carbon development of energy industry etc.
