Since the reform and opening up, China’s export trade has developed rapidly, "China manufacturing" has spread around the world. But in recent years, the quality of China’s export products hasn’t enhanced as fast as before, affecting the upgrading and optimization of the export trade. With the rise in the number of technical barriers to trade and the increase in the price of domestic labor force, the expansion of China’s foreign trade export is unsustainable. The strategy development model that relied on export in the past is facing many challenges.At the same time, the quality security issues of export products has more and more associated with various non-traditional security threats, concerning disasters and foreign affairs. Although the importance of security has been paid more attention in recent years, the role of security which is the premise and foundation of the development of has not yet been profoundly understood. This situation brings some obstacles to the supervision of quality security of export products. Under this background, studying on the quality security strategy of export products has its special significance and urgent need.This paper firstly proposes that quality security of export products is a typical kind of "field security" through dealing with the contradictions between "promoting development" and "security" in the course of the development of export trade under the perspective of non-traditional security management. Then it associates quality security with "five groups of security type" and "eleven kinds of security" of the overall national security concept, and argues that quality security of export products is quite crucial.This paper clarifies the correlation between the quality security of export products and economic growth through quantitative analysis, which shows the necessity of improving the quality security of export products. Then, based on the current situation of China’s export products quality security supervision, the paper summarizes the international experiences and concludes exploration results of directly coastal bureau. Finally, this paper describes the expected goal of security strategy of export products and brings out an idea of export products quality security supervision system, which is characterized by "reach" (trace ability and regulatory), "extended" (flow tracking), transit (third-party regulation) and "outreach" (social co-governance), "emergency response" and "anti-terrorism", and specific measures of improving quality security supervision capacity with the theory of "field security" and "comprehensive governance".
