This century witnessed the booming development of wind power, where relevant policies and regulations could not be synchronized with the practical conditions. Northeast of China enjoys abundant wind resources but wastes a relatively large amount of wind power electricity on account of the overexploitation of wind farms. Northeast power grid is now running in a tough scenario, burdening too much new energy, lacking load demand and peak load cycling and desiderating solutions. The analysis, estimate, monitor and control of this problem is urgent to guide the healthy and orderly development of regional wind power. To contain this negative phenomenon, research on analysis model of power grid operation based on wind power development is conducted. The dilemma between the operation benefit of power grid and the utilization of wind power is firstly discussed to find analytical methods, indexes and conditions. Then two adaptability evaluation models are proposed to real-time monitor and compare running status via various indexes. Besides, wind power online calculation models assist in quantitative analysis, including net benefits analysis model of grid integrated with wind power, tariff compensation calculation model and temporal characteristics analysis model.A web platform integrated with all these analysis models is build to serve the operators to do real-time monitoring and routine analysis. The article keeps a principle that maximizing both wind power receiving capability and operation benefit of grid, which guarantees the safe and stable operation and steady progress in wind power.
