Research On The Construction Of Hainan International Tourist Island

As an important part in the third industry, tourism plays an important role in the Chinese and foreign economy. Hainan has rich tourism resources; therefore, strengthening the development of tourism in Hainan will inevitably bring new driving force and growth to the economy in Hainan.Constructing Hainan into international tourism island is an important strategic decision by Party Central Committee and the State Council on the basis of comprehensive and deepening reform as well as the Socialist Modernization. As the biggest special economic zone, Hainan has rich resources and great geographic advantage. Since 2010, Hainan Island is tourism innovative demonstration zone of China, famous international island tourism destination, deep-ocean resource exploitation and logistic service base as well as the Chinese modern tropical tourism demonstration agricultural base. In a word, the construction of Hainan into international tourism island is lead by tourism as well as a comprehensive development strategy involving economy, politics, ecology, social civilization and environmental protection.With the construction of Sea Silk Road and One Belt and One Road, Hainan will shines forever as the most brilliant star in south China. Hainan provincial government should clarify its aims, grasp the opportunity of historical development trend to develop the tourism economy in Hainan, comprehensively improves the overall tourism image of Hainan, enhances the construction of tourism infrastructure, highlights the tourism reception ability and comprehensively promotes the quality for staff in tourism industry.However, at the same time of developing and construction Hainan into international tourism island, there occur many problems, such as the severe damage to environment, over-exploration, non-overall or non-systematic plans etc., which leads to a result different from our expectation. Therefore, this paper proposes some feasible, effective, sustainable development suggestions specifically to the construction of Hainan into a international tourism island with some concrete examples of successful island development in foreign countries so that it can strive to make Hainan a first-class, famous and most the influential island tourism destination.
