Because of its unique natural conditions andsuperior geographic position, Hainan Island has always occupied the leading positionin Chinese tourism. Following with the international tourism on Promoting thedevelopment of Hainan Island several opinions of the construction promulgated bythe State Council promulgated, the provincial government put out a series of measuresto promote the construction of the internationalization of Hainan Island, and refinedthe guiding ideology, development goal and key tasks.In the condition of the favourable development prospect and Comprehensivesupport of the country, it is necessary to analyze the state-of-the-art of the tourism ofHainan Island, and come up with corresponding marketing strategies, anddevelopment proposal.Taking the development programming of the tourism of Hainan Island as objectof study, this paper uses a variety of analytical methods and put forwardnichetargeting suggestions. First, based on the retrospect of the development historyof tourism of the world and China, the paper finds that the tourism of Hainan Island isfacing huge development opportunity. Secondly, based on the analysis of the tourismresource capability of Hainan Island and using other top-ranking international tourismisland for references, the paper put forward industry orientation and analyzes thefeasibility and business model of the key industries. More importantly, this paperdivides Hainan Island into five areas from the angle of regional planning andcombined with the tourism resource characteristic and tourism resource of each areas.The dividing of the area contributes to the integration of similar tourism resource, andgives full play to the advantage of its integration. It can also avoids unnecessaryhomogeneous competition inside the Hainan Island.
