Research On Development Countermeasures Of Health Industry In China

Health is fundamental of the development of people’s work and life. With the rapid development of economic and society, improvement of people’s living standards, the enhancement of health care consciousness as well as the rapid development of aging population, people are paying more and more attention to health, the demand for health and pension service is growing rapidly. The concern of health doesn’t only focus on curing diseases, but also on the preventing diseases and keeping healthy. So, the corresponding industries such as health management, nutrition, health care, sports fitness, tourism and healthy pension arise and develop fast at the same time. It shows that health industry is a kind of sunrise industry with green, healthy, sustainable and great potential. Developing health industry can not only drive the economic development, but also improve people’livelihood. In order to improve the people’s health level, the government has issued "healthy China 2020", "new medical reform" and other macro policies. On the fifth Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee, the Communist Party of China puts forward the concept of’innovative, coordinated, green, open, and sharing’, promoting the construction of healthy China, implementing food safety strategy, etc.This article firstly introduces the research background and significance of this article, then expounds the research status at home and abroad and introduces the relevant theories and research methods, then, analyzes the status of Chinese health industry. Though the development of Chinese health industry is better in recent years including medical, medicine, health products, health management services pension and healthy pension, etc, there are some problems including incomplete industrial system, short industrial chain, lacking industry standards, uneven distribution of resources in the health industry, low quality of employees, lack of professional staff and so on. In this paper, we propose our country should strengthen the planning and guidance for health industry, establish and improve multi-level health industrial system, accelerate scientific and technological innovation, strengthen personnel training and building professional staff team and so on. Finally, taking Jinzhai county as an example, this thesis applying Porter Diamond Model to analyze its health industry competitiveness, and propose corresponding suggestions to promote its health industry development.
