Since the 21st century, with the advance of economic globalization process, various trade international cooperation is also being further developed. Under the background of booming international trade, with the deepening of trade cooperation between international influence, the shipping industry among countries and regions also will be mature. Under this international environment, the competing between countries/regions is gradually transferred from the continent towards the ocean. At the same time, with the deepening global economic crisis on the impact of China’s manufacturing industry, China’s shipbuilding industry as an important traditional Chinese marine industry one of the components, as an indispensable part of China’s manufacturing industry, it should respond to the requirements of development, further optimize the industrial structure of China’s shipbuilding industry to avoid the risk of export structure, in order to better enhance its international competitiveness and trade strength. For this reason, based on current export structure of Chinese ships in its development process exhibit many characteristics and problems it has emerged, combined with the profession, respectively grasp the characteristics of the current export structure of Chinese ship from product structure and market structure, analysis of its export structure effect, ship exports for the problem encountered, from the perspective of structural optimization, and the corresponding factors for its properties, respectively from industry, business and government point of view put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions, to better promote effectively optimize the export structure of Chinese ship to accelerate sustained and rapid development of China’s ship.
