On the basis of deeply analyzing the research status quo of the management mode of electric power information system, and the "Internet plus" background, the information system operation and maintenance in power enterprise has problems and will have to face three major development trends. But ITIL can effectively solve various problems of information system operation and maintenance management in the power enterprise, so that can help enterprises develop a reasonable development plan, based on the detailed analysis of the basic theory and characteristics of ITIL. And then, This paper studies the advantages of Mocha ITIL Best Practices in the implementation of electric power enterprises. In this paper, it analyzes deeply the necessity of electric power enterprises adopting the ITIL, which finding the advantages of ITIL in the information system operation and maintenance management, and discovers the method of Mocha ITIL Best Practices, summarizes its character and advantage.
