Research On The Effect Of Chinese Forest Products Import To Russia Fed Market

China is a big country of the production, consumption and trade of the forest products in the world. With the rapid economic development and the continuous improvement of living standards, people’s demand for forest products is also gradually increased. However, China is relatively lack of forest resources, and the contradiction between supply and demand of forest products is becoming more and more prominent. So forest products trade as the important part of the China’s foreign economic guarantee for the country’s economic development and people’s life. Under this context, this paper will be based on the international trade theory, price theory and other related knowledge, discussing the impact of China’s import of the forest products from Russian on the domestic market price and Russian’s market price from both qualitative and quantitative aspects.This paper will firstly analyze the current situation of China’s import of the main forest products,such as the logs, sawn timber, artificial board. It will illustrate the domestic supply and demand situation from the Angle of output and domestic consumption, and describe the volume of the import of the main forest products from Russian and the fluctuation of Russian’s market price and the trade of Russian’import forest products.On this basis, from the perspective of national trade, this article analysis the trade dependency of forest products between China and Russian. The conclusion is that China is dependent on Russia tremendously in the import of forest products. In addition, this paper will use SPSS software to explore the impact strength of the import of China’s main forest product on the Russian’s market price and the impact strength of the import price of China’s main forest product on the Russian’s market price from the quantitative perspective. It is concluded that the import quantity of China’s logs, sawn timber, artificial board from Russian can influence the Russian’s market price significantly. And the impact price of the China’s log, artificial board also can influence the Russian’s market price significantly.Finally, through summarizing the conclusion and combining the theory and empirical analysis and China’s national conditions, this paper will put forward countermeasure suggestions to promote the sustainable development of China’s forest products trade, including:Step by step for the connection of forest products in China domestic and Russian’s market price, the construction of national forest product strategic reserve base, to develop transnational operation, actively participate in international cooperation and strive for pricing power, to Improve the futures market and complete the establishment of independent pricing center, etc.
