Study On The Trade Characteristics And Fluctuation Influencing Factors Of Wood Forest Products Between China And Russia

China and Russia have made remarkable achievements in economic cooperation and developed rapidly in the trade of wood forest products.Forest resources are very important strategic resources for all countries in the world.Countries pay more and more attention to environmental protection and resource conservation.In order to protect domestic resources,develop the processing industry of domestic forest products,Russia raised the tariff of wood forest products such as logs,and restricted the export,which hindered the healthy development of China and Russia's wood forest products trade.Due to the lack of forest resources and the large demand for wood forest products,China has been dependent on imports for a long time,and is in the state of import trade of making up for the shortage.Russia has always been an important trade partner to China,and accounts for a large proportion of China's import and export of wood forest products,which has declined in recent years.China has always been in a deficit position,with an increasing trend.At present,China's development has entered a new era,with new contradictions,problems and challenges.The growth rate of domestic demand has slowed down and the pursuit of scientific and stable economic operation has been pursued.Therefore,in the new situation,in order to ensure the healthy and stable development of the trade of wood forest products between the two countries,we should study the factors that affect the fluctuation of China's import and export of wood forest products to Russia,so as to improve the import and export structure of wood forest products,improve the competitiveness of China's wood forest products.At the same time,we should maintain the moderate growth of import,and further open the market of wood forest products in Russia,and increase the market of wood forest products in Russia.The export volume of China's wood forest products is of great significance for the sustainable development of China and Russia's wood forest products.Based on the trade background of forest products between China and Russia,this paper uses the trade theories of the theory of absolute advantage,the theory of comparative advantage and factor endowment,and select the period of 21 years from 1998 to 2018 as research stage.First of all,this paper analyzes the current situation and characteristics of China's import and export trade of Russian wood forest products.Secondly,through the calculation of dominant comparative advantage index,comparative trade advantage index,bilateral comprehensive complementarity coefficient and trade intensity index,the paper analyzes the competitiveness,complementarity and trade tightness of Sino Russian wood forest products trade.Thirdly,through the establishment of the constant market share model,this paper divides the 21 years from 1998 to 2018 into stages,calculates and analyzes the factors that affect the fluctuation of China's import and export of wood forest products to Russia,and studies the influence of import and export structure,market scale and product competitiveness on the fluctuation of China's and Russia's import and export of wood forest products in different periods.Finally,the paper puts forward relevant suggestions and Enlightenment from the overall analysis results.The results show that the trade volume of wood forest products between China and Russia is fluctuating and rising,the import is obviously larger than the export,the inverse balance is expanding,and China is in a passive position.The trade of wood forest products between China and Russia is closely related.With strong complementarity,the have their own products with advantages.From the decomposition results of China's import export trade data of wood forest products to Russia,it can be seen that in terms of import,the import structure and scale of China's wood forest products are the main influencing factors.In addition,the world economic environment and the competitiveness of Russian wood forest products also have a certain impact.In terms of export,it is mainly affected by Russia's import demand and import structure,and is greatly affected by the import structure.The product competitiveness effect has been negative,and the export structure is developing in the direction that is not conducive to China's export to Russia.According to the conclusion,the paper finally puts forward the following suggestions:adjust the structure of import and export trade,realize trade liberalization;use the cross-border location advantages of China and Russia to expand the trade scale of wood forest products;open up the import market,reduce dependence;build the trade information platform of wood forest products,promote communication and exchange;improve export competitiveness,increase competitive advantage;break through trade barriers,remove barriers to import and export.
