The organizational structure of commercial banks is an important part of bank management, which plays an important role in improving the operational efficiency of commercial banks and shaping the core compe titiveness. The success of a commercial bank should be the first to build a highly efficient organizational structure.In the last years, China’s banks, especially the state-owned commercial banks reform and innovation has made remarkable achievements. All of the banks have been changing, who played an important role in supporting and promoting the development of China’s economy. However compared with the international banks, due to the low efficiency of organization, our country commercial bank has a disadvantage. In order to change the passive situation, our country commercial bank had done many reforms, try to learn the advanced commercial banks. But due to the practical system, and the formed flaws for many years, there are still many problems, such as vertical management path is too long, narrow range of management, decision delay, market reaction is not sensitive, risk prevention and internal control function need to optimiz e and adjustment of organizational structure, to adapt the needs of customers and market.On the basis of the organization structure and related theories, this paper analyzes the organizational structure and organizational structure of commercial banks, and makes a deep research on the organizational structure of the state-owned commercial bank X bank, Finally, based on the X bank organizational structure, and the X bank’s change of organizational structure should follow these principles: efficiency, simplicity, efficient information transmission, customer-centric, people-oriented. Then made recommendations of X bank’s organizational structure reform, that the core measure is a combination of vertical and flat management level business unit. Finally discuss the future development on X bank’s organizational structure, to adhering to the "market-oriented, customer-centric " business philosophy, constantly optimize service processes, to provide efficient, high-quality integrated services. In constant development, gain experience, and constantly i mprove themselves to provide a good platform for employees, create a good corporation culture, enhance employee’s cohesion, stimulate employee’s potential, improve work efficiency. Ultimately, become an commercial bank which is efficient interior, speedy external, best service and reputation. The author expect to enrich the study of organizational structure of China’s commercial banks, and enhance the state-owned commercial bank’s efficiency and competitiveness.
