This paper mainly analyze and summary the phenomena of the number of small household electrical appliances of Chinese household electrical appliance enterprises is large but the quality is not fine, the market of small household appliance is large but the competition is fierce.It aims to highlight the design theory of keeping the consumer in center, making the product more closer to the actual needs of users, so that consumers can either get a good user experience, but also meet the corresponding requirements in the use of small household electrical appliances, thus the small household electrical appliances can get reasonable and healthy development.This paper research, analysis and sum up the characteristics of small household electrical appliances, including convenience, fashion, entertainment, Single function, personalized, so that people can fully understand the product positioning of small household appliances, and the effect of small household appliances played in the life.Secondly, this paper summarize the dimension of the demands of the users, namely this four cases: functional、psychological feelings、user participation,、the reflection, studying and analyzing the causes, factors and the advantage after realized of these four cases.In the market research and analysis of factors, this paper combined with the characteristics of small household appliances, studying the impact of small household appliances on product on the view of diversified sales system, detailed user needs and personalized service.By studying the relationship between product and user, product and market, help companies understand the user better, help designers find design focus more accurate; to help small household appliances can have more open markets. Finally, this paper proves the theory that it is worked on through the water purifier case study.By the starting point of the needs of users, rich the innovative of small household appliances, to improve the image of small household electrical appliances products from product features, appearance, structure and other aspects, in order to achieve a good user of the reaction and the market prosperity. This has significance in theory and practice.
