Research On The Spatial Layout And Regional Coordinated Development Of Building Materials Industry

The surplus production issue of traditional building materials product in China has become increasingly prominent. Unreasonable industrial distribution has become one of main factors to retard the development of building material industry in China. Under this circumstance, this paper took three typical building material industries that are cement, glass and ceramic as the research objects, and made spot investigation and data gathering on two designed target zones——Bohai region and Golden Triangle energy area. Based on the study of the situations of the development target, population, geographical conditions, resource endowments, environment bearing capacities, traffic logistics conditions, local industrial policies and regional development plans, the influencing factors of the development of building material industry and regional distribution is analyzed. Evaluation index system of building materials spatial distribution and regional coordinated development is proposed, which is consist of 4 first grade indexes(resources guarantee, industry foundation, environmental restraint and social economy) and 21 second grade indexes. Sustainable coordinated development function evaluation model is established combined comprehensive coordinated evaluation model with comprehensive development index. On the basis of this, the relationship between building materials industry and environment or region is analyzed. The building materials industrial coordinated development degree of the target zone is evaluated. And the specific solutions are proposed for coordinated development in building materials industry in China. The results as follows:(1) Evaluating the spatial distribution of building materials industry by using statistical model is feasible. It can provide a certain theoretical support for government and association to guide the layout of the building materials industry.(2) Resource and market are the main factors in influencing the spatial distribution of building materials industry in China, which determined by product features and industry characteristics.(3) From the date, although the building materials industry includes cement, glass and ceramic has a transfer trend from east to Midwest, for industrial distribution, regional economic development and consumption market etc., the industrial distribution is still showing a serious imbalance.(4) The results of coordinated development evaluation shown: in around Bohai Sea area, new producing should be strictly controlled, and the regulation function of market should be played, and the industrial and product structures should be adjusted; in Golden Triangle energy area, the backward production capacity should be eliminated, and low level repetitive construction should be inhibited.(5) Coordinated developing building materials industry in China should proceed from the following:The surplus production of building materials industry in China should be defused. It consists of improving the industry access conditions, and implementing energy saving and emission reduction and resources circulation utilization etc..The backward production capacity of building materials industry should be eliminated. It consists of inhibiting the low level repetitive construction etc.Economic operation monitoring of building materials industry should be strengthened. It consists of strengthening the operation monitoring and the supply management.
