With the rapid development of world economy and intense competition in industrialization, consumers’ demand for products have witnessed a trend of diversification and individuation, along with transformation in manufacturing production mode. China’s manufacturing industry has gradually broken traditional large-scale production mode, and changed to batch production yet vast varieties,especially for aerospace institutions. China’s aerospace industry is now in a critical period of transition and upgrading, which suits the batch production yet vast varieties mode. Besides, high preciseness for aerospace products and great cost in production require that effectiveness of the quality control system is of vital important to the development of the aerospace industry. In traditional statistical process, control method have failed to satisfy the need for batch production yet vast varieties mode. How to achieve effective quality management and control is an important task for aerospace industry, as well as manufacturing industry undergoing several transformation. Under this background, this article first introduces Chinese A Factory, and analyses the characteristics of the Multi-specification & Small-batch production. By combining Grey System Theory with Support Vector Machine(SVM) method, the article aims at establishing a highly targeted quality control system with great control effect, which can be used to effectively improve the international competitiveness of China’s aerospace industry and promote the sustainable development of it.Based on the summary of domestic and international research, the article gives a thorough analysis of the production process of Chinese A Factory, and demonstrates the characteristics of the batch production yet vast varieties mode. By comparing the existing quality control methods in terms of the batch production yet vast varieties mode,their advantages and disadvantages can be concluded. Meanwhile, on the basis of Grey System Theory, the article mainly introduces the application of traditional Grey GM(1,1)Model in quality control, which is further improved and optimized combining batch production yet vast varieties mode, and throws light on the advantages of the optimized GM(1,1) Model. Besides, according to the ideas of the predictive compensation control,by combining the advantages of Grey GM(1,1) Model and Support Vector Machine(SVM) method, the optimized GM(1,1) Model and the SVM can be organically constructed to build the SVM Predictive Compensation Model on the basis of optimized Grey Model. Finally, through the empirical analysis of actual example from Chinese A Factory, the article proves that the Predictive Compensation Model beats others in terms of accuracy and stability, which can be used to effectively improve the overall efficiency of Chinese A Factory, and enhance the international competitiveness ofChina’s aerospace industry.
