The Research Of Puhua Company Supply Chain Risk Management

Supply chain management is to create profit for companies by improving the efficiency of supply chain operations and reducing cost and meantime meeting a certain level of customer service. In order to reduce operating costs and improve the competitiveness of enterprises, some companies introduced just in time(Just-In-Time) management, and inventory management etc.. The supply chain management measures, to some extent, control costs, but on the other hand, has greatly increased the instability of the supply chain. Recent years, many supply chain risk accidents seriously affect the normal operation of the supply chain. Many companies are forced to reduce operation rate or even stop operation, suffering serious losses. Supply Chain Risk Management has drawn increasing attention of the management of each company. How to identify, assess and manage the risk of supply chain has become an important issue of supply chain risk research.Therefore, this study chooses supply chain risk as a subject for research, and chooses Puhua Company supply chain for analysis and discussion, providing a reference for Puhua Company’s supply chain risk management. This study identifies seven key risk factors which contain 29 risk variables of supply chain based on the SCOR model and through expert interviews, questionnaires and statistical empirical analysis. Then this study constructs the index system of supply chain risk assessment based on identified key risk factors and risk variables, using Experts Grading Method to determine the weight of the factors and fuzzy comprehensive assessment method to build a supply chain risk assessment model, then evaluate the level of the risk variables and factors to further test the reliability of the supply chain. Based on the risk assessment, this paper gives some suggestion on supply chain risk management strategies for risk evaluation results and risk countermeasures for the different levels of risk.
