Research On The Problem Of Multi-suppliers Selection And Purchasing Quantity Allocation

With the rapid development of economic globalization and Internet technology, the competition in the global market is becoming increasingly fierce, the life cycle of new product is being shorter and shorter and the customers’ demands are becoming more and more diversified, for manufacturing enterprise, it must pay more attention to core business instead of outsourcing the non-core business, while with the strategic adjustment of industry’s structure, in order to keep its competition advantages. In such a background, strengthening the management of purchasing can enable enterprises to maintain their advantage in a competitive circumstance, so as to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises.In the actual procurement, the management of purchasing concentrates more on the vendor selection and procurement of distribution. Supplier selection is the beginning of purchasing and it has an important impact on the purchasing. For supplier selection, to build a suitable evaluation index system and to use a scientific evaluation method can meet the optimal needs of the enterprise by a large extent. Because of the great changes in the market environment, in the past, the traditional procurement model is unable to respond as quickly as possible to the changes in market demands, meanwhile, due to its “monopoly” advantage, it loses the sense of competition and innovation step by step. In order to improve the situation, enterprises transform into a multi-vendor selection strategy. Research on supplier selection strategy has brought a new sense of direction and that is how to make a reasonable allocation of purchasing quantity based on the vendor ’s characteristics and the meets of the enterprise, in order to maintain the balance of multi-vendor and maintain the stability of the relationship between the enterprises and vendors. Thus, it places a great practical significance to enterprise to study the procurement allocation problems under the condition of multi-vendors.Based on this, the study process of the thesis is according to the following structures:Firstly, starting with the research of supplier selection and procurement allocation, through the research on supply selection related theory, the thesis analyses the status of supplier selection in procurement, analyses the pros and cons of supplier selection strategy and analyses the basic process of supplier selection. And then, the thesis studies the domestic and foreign research status of supplier selection and procurement allocation. Bases on the above research, the thesis puts forward the research direction is multi-vendor selection and allocation of multi-vendor purchases decisions.Secondly, through the analysis of effecting factors for supplier selection, according to the principles of building an evaluation index system, together with the combining features of manufacturing enterprise in China, the thesis proposed a building method based on fish bone. The built evaluation system covers the cost, quality, communication, production and delivery and each dimension contains details of level 2 evaluation indexes.Thirdly, after finishing the construction of the evaluation system, the thesis researches the decision-making process based on FAHP and applies it into the solving of relative weight. At the same time, the thesis takes risks into accounting and uses entropy method to calculate the risk weight, by combining the two types of weights, it gives the comprehensive weight of each index. At last, the thesis uses grey theory to select the most satisfying multiple vendors. Combining different evaluation methods and considering all aspects of indicator weights makes the evaluation results more comprehensive and reliable. The thesis sets an example to using the above evaluation model to illustrate the feasibility of the evaluation model. Finally, after finishing the supplier selection, the thesis studies the procurement allocation problem under the different procurement situations. Taking single material/more materials, single target/more targets, no price discount/price discount, single stage/more stage of procurement situation into consideration, the thesis build s four different models: based on single stage of single material single target planning model, based on price discount of single material more target planning model, based on price discount of more material more target planning model, based on more stage of has price discount of more materials planning model. For model 1, the thesis introduced procurement volume proportion method to solve it and for model 2&3, the thesis used a typical solution to solve multiple objective nonlinear programming model. For model 4, because of its complex, the thesis uses improved heuristic algorithm method to solve it. At last, the thesis used Lingo & Matlab to do the simulation about the construction of each model.
