With the environmental problems become more and more serious, developed the new energy industry had became the inevitable choice of goverment. Solar energy with the advantage of pollution-free, easy to obtain and large reserves,becoming the ideal alternative energy. Turning the sunlight into electrical energy, the photovoltaic industry has generated。Photovoltaic industry is an important part of Jiangxi strategic emerging industry, and it has became an important pillar industry of Jiangxi industrial economic development. After ten years of development, Jiangxi PV has established relatively complete industry chain with some remarkable achievements. But Jiangxi PV industrial strength is poor, it needs to upgrade. However, the kind of pattern and the way to achieve need further study.The PV industry belongs to high technical, carry out the strategy of innovation-driven will be a necessary way for industry upgrading. Firstly, the article will combine the existing theory results of innovation-driven and industrial upgrading,discusses the principle of innovation drive industrial upgrading from three aspects: the upgrade mode of enterprise insert into global value chain, the upgrade mode of industrial clusters,external environment supporting. Secondly, after briefly analysis the situation of domestic and overseas PV industry. This paper expounded the current situation of the Jiangxi PV industry and the typical enterprise, summed up the feature of Jiangxi PV industry: big scale but weak competitiveness, imported equipment and lack of technology research, cluster correlation and radiation effect is weak. Through on-the-spot investigation, the paper had put forward clear object on the key technologies of Jiangxi PV.Then, based on the theory research and the status analysis, the article found the influencing factors of innovation driven Jiangxi PV industry upgrading to determine the boundary and structure of innovation-driven PV industry upgrading system from the core capabilities of innovation, the network capabilities of industry cluster and the external driving force. Finnaly,the paper taken a famous PV company in Jiangxi and collcet data through field survey and visit, used System Dynamics build the SD model on innovation-driven Jiangxi PV enterprise upgrade, Simulating the trend and observing the function of the model by regulating the pafameters, it can provide quantitative support for the PV upgrading countermeasure selection. From the result of empirical analysis, the effect of innovation driven industry upgrading based on many factors, especially pay attentionto the function of talent, R&D, market and policy.In view of the problems in Jiangxi PV industry, the article combined with the results of the theory analysis and empirical analysis, proposed the countermeasure of innovation driven Jiangxi PV industry upgrading. With the important construction of“One Belt One Road” and “Nanchang Optics Vally”, Jiangxi PV industry getting a good chance and having the huge development potential.The government should build and perfect the system of financial and talent training to encourage enterprise to innovate. Alter the direction of policy-setting to expand the PV terminal consumption market.What’s more, Jiangxi need to speed up the PV cluster to fusion and deepen the industry-university-institute cooperation system to spread the PV technology, and to promote the pace of industry upgrading furtherly.
