| The status of livestock industry in Tianzhu County has been investigated. Combined with the comparison of the livestock industry in China and other countries, the sustainable developmental strategy of livestock industry in Tianzhu County analyzed by quantitative and qualitative methods. The importance of its sustainable development strategy has been proposed then. The main results are as follows:1) Degradation of grassland ecological environment resulted in natural decline in production capacity. And scientific and technological progress were not well-used, so the agricultural production and operation mode is backward.2) Eight aspects should be focused to change the husbandry and pastoral way of livestock in the county: production systems, breeding protection systems, quality and safety system, forage system, technical service system, marketing system, industrial projects, industrialization bibcock enterprise construction. Using the methods of pastoral grazing, big poultry breeder or raising zone, and gradually realized transition mode from the farmer to the family ranch or raising zone, a good job of scientific plans for livestock industry to provide correct guidance.3) It is necessary to make good use of advanced livestock technology, increase technology promotion and application efforts, accelerate the construction of Tianzhu County livestock technology promotion service system, optimize and upgrade Tianzhu County livestock industry structure, improve the quality of livestock products, improve the awareness of grass livestock brand in Tianzhu County.4) To develop local livestock products processing and sales business positively in Tianzhu County, would provide corresponding policy and funding support. Therefore, the added value of livestock production and processing will be greatly improved.
